Largest Hospital System In Memphis Suspends Court Collections Of Unpaid Medical Bills From The Poor

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, the largest hospital system in Memphis, Tennessee, said it has suspended court collection activities over unpaid medical bills.

This happened days after an investigation by MLK50 and ProPublica was published on how they pursued debts held by poor people and even some of its own employees.
