As Donald Trump delivered a speech about criminal justice to a room full of political allies at Benedict College, in Columbia, S.C., most students were reportedly asked to stay in their dorms.
The room allegedly only included about 12 students of students.
The nation's complainer-in-chief was awarded the the 20/20 Bipartisan Justice Center's “Bipartisan Justice Award” which sparked outrage, protests and Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris to back out of the event as a result.
The Trump admin turned what was supposed to be a presidential forum into an official White House event which allowed them to literally hi-jack the event.
Tishaura Jones, St. Louis City Treasurer/Democratic Co-Chair, 2020 Bipartisan Justice Center spoke with Roland Martin about the chaos that ensued this weekend at Benedict College.
