9:08Now PlayingAfter nearly three years away from the game, Colin Kaepernick, the quarterback who was blackballed for taking a knee to protest social injustice during the national anthem, is one step closer to being back in the NFL.
He was notified on Tuesday that a private workout has been arranged for him on Saturday in Atlanta. Kaepernick's reps asked for the workout to be on a Tuesday, the day of most workouts, but the NFL said it had to be this Saturday. 11 teams -- Arizona, Atlanta, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Miami, New England, NY Giants, NY Jets, Tampa Bay and Washington have already committed to attend the Saturday workout.
Is this another PR stunt being put on by the NFL or are they really working to bring the embattled quarterback back the gridiron?
