Soon to be former Senator Kelly Loeffler had the "audacity" to send out a message on Twitter attempting to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. after spending the weeks attacking Rev. Raphael Warnock during their campaign for Senate.
Loeffler labeled Warnock a "radical liberal" and a Jeremiah Wright–loving socialist who is out of step with Georgia voters during the lead up to their Georgia Senate runoff election which the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church won.
Loeffler is not the only Republican to pull such a stunt. Members of the GOP have been doing it for decades; extolling the work of Dr. King all while pushing policies the go against the very principles the late civil rights leader stood for.
