10:33Now PlayingThe Federal government is conducting insider threat screening on 25,000 National Guard troops who have come to Washington D.C. to secure the inauguration.
This extra precaution comes after a number of insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, which included current and former military and law enforcement members.
Army Secretary Ryan D. McCarthy says none of the troops helping to protect the inauguration have been flagged so far.
But, the government will continue to vet Nation Guard troops in order to prevent another Coup attempt.
