On Wednesday, the Georgia state Senate passed legislation that would require voters to submit a driver's license number, state identification card number or a photocopy of an approved form of identification in order to vote absentee in the state.
This comes after Georgia House Republicans presented a 48-page bill calling for several changes that would limit the timeframe for early voting in the state.
