WTH?!? Violence Against Women Act Faces Hurdles In The Senate After 172 House Repubs Vote Against It

The House of Representatives has passed the Violence against women act and it now heads to senate where it is expected to face major backlash from GOP Senators over gun control measures it contains.

The bill includes the restriction of anyone convicted of stalking or domestic abuse from being able to purchase a firearm.

Currently, this restriction only applies to those who are married, have children with the victim, or are living together.

Senate Republicans have plans to present their own version of the bill.
