During today's clemency hearing, the board voted 3-1 to recommend clemency for Jones and that his sentence be commuted to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
For the first time ever, we got a chance to hear from the death row Inmate, who maintains his innocence.
On Monday, Julius' spiritual advisor, Pastor Keith Jossell spoke with Roland Martin about Jones' clemency hearing and about the possible outcomes now that Oklahoma's Pardon and Parole Board recommended Jones' life be spared.
