WNBA Star Brittney Griner Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges In Russia | Roland Martin

WNBA star Brittney Griner pleaded guilty Thursday in a Russian court on drug charges.

Griner entered the second day of her trial in handcuffs. She told the judge she wanted to take responsibility for her actions. Her attorneys spoke to the press after today's hearing.

Griner will be back in court on July 14.

There's speculation that Griner's guilty plea may have been part of a strategy to get a more lenient sentence.
