The nine-member California Reparations Task Force continued this week as it held its second public hearing on recommendations for state-level reparations.
On Wednesday, the task force hosted the second public hearing in Oakland, where black residents made their thoughts known.
Taskforce Chairperson Kamilah Moore has not set a dollar amount or form of reparations. The Taskforce is set to have the final report in June of 2023.
