On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a historic address to U.S. lawmakers at the U.S. Capitol.

This is Zelensky's first trip out of Ukrainian since the start of the Russian-Ukraiane war. Zelensky visited the White House for a bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden.

After months of requesting the U.S. for more potent weapons to shoot down Russian missiles, the Biden Administration approved a $1.85 billion military package for Kyiv, including a Patriot missile system.

Russia's war in Ukraine is the largest in Europe since World War II killing tens of thousands of people.

After Washington boosted military support for Ukraine, the Kremlin accused the United States of fighting a proxy war against Russia.
