11:55Now PlayingOn April 25, 2021, 19-year-old Derontae Martin was found dead in the attic of a white Missouri man's house with a gunshot wound to his head.
The white man, James Wade, is said to be a known white supremacist.
The local coroner quickly ruled Derontae's death a suicide. It took months to get a second autopsy, and an impaneled jury ruled Derontae's death resulted from violence, not suicide.
But still, no one has been arrested for his death.
There are discussions about the DOJ's potentially taking over the case.
