Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut's social media post that said:
"Of the 20 highest median income states, Democrats won 18 of them. Of the 20 lowest median income states, Democrats won 3. Yes, race and gender play a big role in politics.
But the hard truth is this - Democrats clearly aren't listening to the people we say we fight for.
Albright responded to the post saying, "Now let's try this: of those 20 lowest median income states that you think Dems loss cuz of economic anxiety, how many have Rep governors? Legislatures? Trifectas? They have such economic anxiety that they've for decades rewarded their Rep governments?"
