They Saved Trump's A$$: SCOTUS Just Let 'Don The Con' Fire 16,000 Probationary Federal Employees

The U.S. Supreme Court in a 7-2 ruling, sided with the Trump administration, allowing it to proceed with firing over 16,000 federal workers--many of them still in their probationary period.

These workers were let go as part of a sweeping move by the twice impeached criminally convicted felon-in-chief Donald "The Con" Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency, also known as DOGE, to downsize the federal government aggressively.

Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson and Sonia Sotomayor spoke out against the decision. Justice Jackson said the administration hadn't shown enough urgency to justify pushing this case so quickly to the Supreme Court, suggesting that this was more about power than process.

Other lawsuits are still pending. One federal judge in Maryland has already blocked these firings in nearly 20 states and the District of Columbia.

But for now, thousands of employees remain without a job.
