9:08Now PlayingOhio police say a father intentionally struck and killed a sheriff's deputy just one day after officers fatally shot his son.
Authorities allege that Rodney Hinton Jr. drove his car into a Hamilton County deputy, who was directing traffic outside the University of Cincinnati's graduation ceremony, on Friday.
Hinton is now charged with aggravated murder and is being held without bond.
Prosecutors say the attack came hours after Hinton and his family viewed police bodycam footage of the fatal shooting of his 18-year-old son, Ryan Hinton.
Officers say Ryan brandished a gun at them, though it's unclear from the footage if he pointed it or fired. A weapon was recovered at the scene.
The deputy Hinton hit, identified as Larry Henderson, died after being struck while working a traffic detail.
