When they demanded answers and a plan to address the racism, Principal Tresa Rast called the police on them! Just days later, the school expelled their son and cut ties with the family, citing a violation of the school's code of conduct.
Mike Phillips, the parent at the center of this story spoke with Roland Martin about family has endured and what changes he hopes to see for all children in our schools.
