Jim Clyburn warns that Republican-led redistricting efforts across the South are part of a coordinated attack on Black political power and voting rights. The conversation connects current Supreme Court rulings to a broader rollback of protections established during the Civil Rights Movement, including Shelby and Citizens United. Clyburn argues that dismantling Black districts will strip Black communities of federal resources, political influence, and representation while empowering states willing to suppress Black voting strength. The interview also calls on younger voters to dramatically increase turnout to stop what Clyburn describes as “Jim Crow 2.0.”
