Megyn Kelly launched an anti-Haitian rant after the Supreme Court’s Temporary Protected Status ruling, telling Haitians to “go back” and claiming they do not want to live like Americans. The segment pushes back on those false claims, noting that Ohio’s Republican governor wanted Haitian workers in Springfield because they were filling jobs others were not taking. A Haitian American actress called the rhetoric disgusting, deeply hurtful, and dangerous, urging people to register and vote. Roland Martin then turned Kelly’s “go back” line around on her, saying the only people who can claim this land are Native Americans.
