Please watch my video on nuclear weapons, nuclear power and radiation

The six reactors at Zaporizhzhia are in a cold shutdown state. This is used when maintenance needs to be performed on equipment inside the reactor. The spent fuel from the reactor is mostly kept in heavy concrete and steel "casks" on the site, which are specifically designed not to be destroyed easily. Spent fuel is normally kept in cooling pools for a few years until it can be placed in casks. This can be a concern, especially if water stops flowing into the pool. However, the spent fuel will likely just boil off the water in the pool and be a localized problem. It will not explode like a bomb or turn into a radioactive volcano.
