Special thanks to Cybra for allowing me to use their software.
The "Chase Infinite Money Glitch" was a bug in Chase Bank ATM software which allowed a person to deposit a check and access that money immediately even though that check had not cleared. This is check fraud.
It is unclear whether people were actually doing this. It is possible that people were following the trend to generate clicks more than they were actually committing fraud. Based on analysis from Cyabra, I do not believe that this trend was planted by a foreign actor.
