‘No More Masks!’ Chilling Footage Of Unhinged Parents Protesting Masks In Schools

Tennessee parents chant “No more masks!” at school board members and medical professionals as Tennessee continues to have one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country. Many parents nationwide are making masks a polarizing issue, even as children across the country are being admitted to hospitals for Covid at alarming rates — likely because of the Delta variant.

Emma Vigeland: Unfortunately, I come to you with some heartbreaking Covid news. That children's hospital story out of Politico and some of the numbers that we're seeing there, just you know put a pit in my stomach and I can't even imagine for the parents listening. People who have young children in their life there is I would imagine an immense concern, especially if you're in an area where vaccine rates are particularly low and you're seeing an increase in hospitalizations and a lack of willingness by the people around you to get vaccinate,d to mask up etc. One of these places that has a lower vaccine rate than the rest of the country and is having difficulty getting its constituents vaccinated is Tennessee and we'll go to that in a second some footage from a Tennessee school board meeting, but as I mentioned earlier in headlines scientists and doctors aren't quite sure yet if the Delta variant is having a greater effect on kids but there are pieces of evidence that show that it might it would make sense given the fact that the Delta variant is multiplying more quickly in all people. The fact that it's spreading more contagiously and it's causing a number of breakthrough infections and vaccinated people although you're much less likely to one get the infection and to experience harsh symptoms if you are vaccinated, but we are seeing more child deaths in Indonesia a few weeks back. There was an increase in child deaths that people there were potentially attributing to the delta variant and now we're seeing this increase in child hospitalization.
