Sam Seder: There is Assange's attempt to avoid extradition based upon his personal situation but the broader issue in terms of the relationship between government and the press. Mehdi Hasan makes a good point here sometimes to defend basic principles like free speech or a free press you have to defend people you may find distasteful maybe even people you loathe.
