Caller: I'm calling to complain about my employer, Chicago Public schools.
Emma: Gotcha.
Matt: Nice.
Caller: That's why I'm using that name. so you know the whole thing last week you know with our you know our teachers voting to move remote it was just chewed up and spit out as them voting to like not to work at all which is just not true. you know that was circulating a lot. But the core of the problem here is that we have to wait for union action, a strong union action to get like any sort of movement in any direction. And right now the policy that they're kind of agreeing on is just tertiary in terms of what needs to be done. The administration you know the license administration right now is just not taking this seriously. And their responses during the press conferences have been wholly just inadequate over the last week. And this is just indicative of how much our country's response to this is just rolling downhill. Do you know? The feds put it off to the states they've picked it off to the municipality, municipality puts it off to [ __ ] businesses to like handle this [ __ ]. And you know teachers are asking for tests right you know they're starting high negotiating and saying we want tests for everybody. Maybe that's not going to get done. Right they're trying to negotiate down to something like even just testing like 10% of our student population at any given time.
