Sam: Jackson's biggest error is to think that dem leadership says right-handed lefty gives a [ __ ]. if the squad blocked one of these votes the dem would unleash holy war on them upon their next run for office. That's right. Jackson wants to hike the squad accountable but then not primary them? how would he hold them accountable then by talking bad about them on youtube? The thing is that I think primarying them is the only way ultimately to hold them into account. I think that the debate he wanted to have was about a third party. because I don't understand if this is just pure nihilism.
Matt: Well now it's too hard to have that debate. The people's party went up in flames. you can't affirmatively say let's do a third party because of the green party also. and none of those people have learned any lessons from the failures of those parties. but what they want to do is just attack the democrats.
Sam: Yeah and the bottom line is like look you could say that I mean this whole thing about what kind of bar do you want to hold them to. no, it's all relative. That's the best that we have. Does that suck? yeah, that sucks?
