Hello, my name is Andy from Colorado. Andy from Colorado what's on your mind? well first of all did tin pool just say basically that the cops didn't beat that guy defund the police beats that guy? I mean essentially that was his the gist of it. It has to be that because that's you know they're afraid that they're afraid that he's you know that there's going to be actually some structural reform. man it's amazing what people will do for money. I know it. anyway I was calling regarding a recent piece that Gray Zone did about how democracy Now sucks for confronting Assange on the 2016 Clinton leaks. and kind of going along with that the force of vote thing and this is these attacks on AOC. and it's just kind of weird to me to see ostensibly Progressive people attacking like the our one shot that we have. I mean I think AOC is better than the person she replaced right? oh my God Crowley. yeah yeah. Democracy Now, I think that clip you know whatever I don't think it accurately represents the totality of democracy now it's coverage of Assange particularly subsequent coverage and recent coverage I think. like you know we're criticizing could not pick out while democracy Now is holding the belmarsh tribunal. right. right. they have been some of the most vocal outlets on the left in freeing Assange if I'm not mistaken. so that's cherry picking in order to make. It's cherry picking in order to attack certain leftists you know channel Outlets to get their own. yeah and also appeal to the people that love the Jay bhattacharya and The Brownstone institute's covid minimizing stuff. which in my opinion completely discredited The Gray Zone in my mind. I think it's a worthless Outlet. yeah I mean I just felt that way. yeah I mean I think I mean like the if if you really think that the problem with the media is at democracy Now. and no and no Outlet is perfect. no Outlet is even I don't know 75 percent perfect. but if you think the problem with the media is democracy now then honestly you might as well head into a spaceship and go to the Moon. Well, I honestly. I mean like there's just no we have a limit we have a limited sort of amount of resources in which to approach things. and I can understand that they perceive democracy now. Maybe they perceive democracy Now to be in the same Lane because people in the gray Zone have worked in democracy now in the past. yeah so maybe they perceive that as like they want to make sure their viewers don't take what democracy now says as being truthful.
