Sam from Ottawa. I've always thought of fake celeb porn as extra weird. Digital art takes time and you have to sit there and actively think about what you're going to create. AI porn turns it into a click that anyone can do. It's a Pandora's Box that requires a societal change to address because it'll be impossible to do policy-wise. I mean I think there are some State statutes right that ban deep fake porn. I've never looked up fake porn of myself. I'm sure there are some out there. and the thought of it is very violating. and I can't believe that I'm seeing people defend it. yeah, I didn't realize how pervasive it was. you know it's actually not you know AI porn is different from AI deep fake porn. because AI porn you know we could obviously discuss what's wrong with that too. but that's not specifically taking the likeness of someone and inserting it. Deep fakes specifically study particularly like machine learning technology studies and learn from the frame that goes through data which would be the video that it's fed. This makes like twitch streamers and YouTube streamers more susceptible to this kind of stuff. because there are hours and hours of new footage being uploaded to them daily of them looking directly at a 4k camera giving a perfect view of their face. so the technology basically looks at this, learns from it, and then takes that likeness and models it and inserts that on top of a porno pornographic image from another video or photo. it's almost bizarre how much of it's out there strictly because it's a pretty intensive time-consuming process if you want it to be really realistic looking.
