When Nihan was diagnosed with a heart murmur, Nihan's life was in jeopardy, and her family fell into despair as they did not have access to the pediatric cardiological care that could heal Nihan's heart. The door of hope would be opened, however, when Nihan's family was introduced to Samaritan's Purse and their Children's Heart Project, and Nihan was sent to a hospital in Grand Cayman to receive the surgery that ultimately healed her heart.
