In this video I first go over the many positives & hereos involved in the hurricane Harvey relief effort. I talk about the man who opened his mattress store and his heart to those in need. The stunning and beautiful photo of a Man carrying a pregnant woman who was carrying her child.
Unfortunately for all of us it can't all be good stories of unity. Because tragedy brings out the scammers amongst us too. In this video I discuss Linda Sarsour's attempt to cheat well meaning people out of their money. You see she recently got caught sharing a link to the Harvey Relief fund. At First Glance this would seem like a perfectly fine organization. That is until you realize that it's actually not for the victims of Harvey. It's a left leaning political organizing group, that just looks like one. Now This group is technically breaking no laws as all the information about where the money goes (political activism) is public. But It seems wrong to name something Harvey Relief Fund, when it doesn't send money to relief efforts.
