During a Capitol press conference, Democrats discussed efforts to support our veterans and active duty members of the military. "Far too often, our veterans who have so bravely sacrificed to protect our nation and way of life face challenges when they return from duty," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. As Memorial Day approaches, Democrats will continue to work to ensure that our veterans have the tools they need to successfully transition back into civilian life, including access to quality health care, housing, and employment opportunities.
