22:59Now PlayingU.S. Senators Patty Murray (D-WA), Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), and Tina Smith (D-MN) accompanied by Danielle Campoarmor, a Planned Parenthood patient, and Dr. Bailey Cannon, of Physicians for Reproductive Health and NARAL, will call on Republicans to protect women’s reproductive rights, in light of President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. President Trump has repeatedly promised to appoint a “pro-life” justice in order to overturn Roe V. Wade and send the decision back to the states, upending years of precedence and endangering a women’s right to choose. The Democrats will discuss how Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court will not only threaten Roe, it will also endanger a woman’s access to contraceptives and right to make choices about her reproductive health.
