Senator Britt questioned Interior Secretary Deb Haaland regarding the Administration's unacceptable, unexplained delays in processing Tuscaloosa County-based Warrior Met Coal's application to develop 24 million tons of met coal in Alabama. The bureaucratic stonewalling is jeopardizing high-paying 21st century jobs in the state, damaging Alabama's economy, and keeping hundreds of millions of dollars out of U.S. government coffers.
