Jamie McDonald, 27, began in Newfoundland in March and has completed a distance equivalent to more than 200 marathons.
The Gloucester-born runner pushed a 60kg baby buggy carrying his possessions and achieved the feat without a support crew - the first Briton to do so.
His journey saw him endure temperatures of forty below zero, sometimes sleeping rough as he went through 13 pairs of trainers - and even being attacked at one point.
