Twelve people have been killed in a mass shooting at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California.
Footage has been released by one of the survivors of the moment suspect Ian David Long opened fire inside the Borderline Bar and Grill.
One of the victims was Sergeant Ron Helus, a police officer who was responding to the shooting and who has been described as "an exceptional friend and man".
The mother of another victim, Telemachus Orfanos, told Sky News: "I don't want prayers. I don't want thoughts. I want gun control."
