If UK Prime Minister Theresa May fails to get her Brexit deal through parliament in the coming weeks, the prospect of Britain leaving the EU with no deal becomes all the more real.

Planning, both in the public and private sector, is being stepped up across Britain in an attempt to minimise disruption.

In Kent, where there are fears cross-Channel traffic could grind to a halt, an airfield has been converted into an HGV holding facility in the hopes of easing the gridlock.
