Boris Johnson warns we must "brace ourselves" for the next move by Russia after it "flagrantly violated" peace agreements.

As expected, the Prime Minister imposed sanctions on Russia using "new and unprecedented powers".

He announced sanctions on five Russian banks - Rossiayaz Bank, IS Bank, General Bank, Promsvyazbank and Black Sea Bank.

Sanctions were also imposed on Gennady Timchenko, Igor Rotenberg and Boris Rotenberg who were described as "very high net worth individuals".
