Infectious disease specialist Dr Bharat Pankhani explains how the patient, who was immune suppressed, was treated.
He said we are "learning every day" and are "getting better" at tackling COVID compared to two years ago.
He also gave his view on Matt Hancock going into the jungle after the former Health Secretary's "failings" during the COVID outbreak.
