13:12Now PlayingA government minister has said "a lot of changes have been made" at the Manston migrant processing centre and it is legally compliant after reports surfaced this week about its conditions and overcrowding.
There are estimates that Manston was housing 4,000 people compared to the 1,600 it is designed for.
Policing minister Chris Philp told Sky News that "significant" improvements had been made in the last few days.
He also confirmed two groups of people who had crossed the Channel on small boats and been through Manston had been left stranded at Victoria station, saying there was a "misunderstanding".
