as posted by the channel

The family of a woman who was murdered by her estranged husband say they are "overjoyed" that parental rights laws are being changed in her name.

Jade Ward was stabbed and strangled by Russell Marsh in 2021, days after their marriage broke down. The attack happened in her own home while their four children slept nearby.

But while in jail, Marsh was allowed to repeatedly contact Jade’s parents, asking for photos of the children, and their school reports.

The government is now introducing ‘Jade’s Law’, which will automatically strip people who kill their spouse of any parental rights.
