Rishi Suank claimed during the show that a Labour government would cost families £2,000 a year
in extra taxes.
Sir Keir Starmer rejected the allegation and it's since emerged that figure has been disowned by the authors who did the research.
Sophy Ridge pointed out to Mr Afolami that taxes have gone up £13,000 per household since 2019 - a figure he said he did not recognise.
