Speaking to Sky's Sophy Ridge, he said the industry had been "at the brunt" of Brexit and the COVID pandemic and is continuing to struggle with the cost of living crisis.
The restaurateur is one of 121 business leaders who have signed an open letter supporting Labour for business, saying the party had shown it had changed and wanted to work with businesses to achieve "the UK’s full economic potential".
