The text calls for the discussion of "reparatory justice" relating to the transatlantic slave trade, and the roles countries have played in it. Heads of state are expected to take an "active role" in the conversations.
Sky's political editor Beth Rigby says the prime minister Sir Keir Starmer wanted to keep this off the agenda and focus instead on looking forward, with topics such as economic growth.
