9:50Now PlayingTransport Secretary Heidi Alexander responds to the National Grid's claims that Heathrow had enough power following a fire that shut down services at the airport last week.
Ms Alexander says there were "significant" problems in two terminals, and it was the judgement of the airport to close, saying "Heathrow wouldn’t have reopened if there were any questions about the continuity of the supply".
She says she spoke with Thomas Woldbye, chief executive of Heathrow, on Friday morning, but when pressed about how many conversations she had since the fire, Ms Alexander repeats that she spoke to Mr Woldbye once, on Friday morning, when the decision was made to close.
However, Ms Alexander says she had a "number" of calls with officials, including Energy Secretary Ed Miliband.
