10:21Now PlayingBenjamin Netanyahu has accused Sir Keir Starmer of being "on the wrong side of history" after he called for an end to the war in Gaza.
Mr Netanyahu also criticised the leaders of France and Canada for their statements on the treatment of Palestinians in Gaza.
He was talking after the killings in Washington DC of Israeli embassy workers Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim.
"They don’t want a Palestinian state. They want to destroy the Jewish state. They want to annihilate the Jewish people, who have been in the Land of Israel for 3,500 years," Mr Netanyahu said.
"I could never understand how this simple truth evades the leaders of France, Britain, Canada and others. They are now proposing to establish a Palestinian state and reward these murderers with the ultimate prize."
