16:32Now PlayingEstonia's president has told the UN that Russia's war in Ukraine undermines the credibility of the United Nations.
"The human suffering in Ukraine has reached unprecedented levels," Alar Karis said
"Russia has significantly intensified its campaign of terror with a barrage of drone and missile strikes on civilian targets.
"It is evident that Russia has no intention of agreeing to a ceasefire, let alone lasting peace."
He said increasing violations of neighbouring countries' airspace is a "stark reminder" of Russia's aggression.
It comes just days after three Russian jets spent 12 minutes in the country's airspace.
"The only viable way towards a ceasefire and a just and lasting peace is to increasing collective international pressure on Russia, to force them to peace in Ukraine," he added.
