The shadow home secretary insists that his party's proposals to deport 150,000 people a year are "detailed and comprehensive".

Chris Philp explained: "In terms of who would be in scope for removal, it would be, firstly, people who enter the country illegally, which so far this year, has been about 33-34,000 by small boat alone.
