9:48Now PlayingEducation Secretary Bridget Phillipson has been speaking to Sky News on the anniversary of the 7 October attacks.
When asked if Jewish students are safe on campuses, the minister says that university vice chancellors and leaders will "have to do everything within their power" to ensure they are.
But she adds there are issues around protests taking place near - but not on - university property.
Phillipson says she has been speaking to university leaders about the issue of protests today, and will be engaging further with them and Jewish community groups to "make sure we're taking action against antisemitism".
