Sky's political editor Beth Rigby asked the PM if he recognises that many people in the UK are angry that the UK's closest ally is threatening to damage the economy and asks him to rule out retaliatory tariffs.
The prime minister said he's "not surprised by the reaction", calling it a "very serious situation".
He adds: "Our job is to ensure that we find a way forward, consistent with our principles and our values and consistent with our national interest."
