You don't built a cult around it, and the people are behaving abhorrently.
This is my story, which might help others feel a little bit braver about saying NO to this stuff.
Stand your ground.
And, if this makes you angry, then you probably need to dig deeper and understand why. Because me having different ideas should not anger you.
