A Marine out of Arizona is now in federal custody, accused of taking military weapons from his base in California and selling them for profit, according to federal court documents.
Prosecutors say 23-year-old Andrew Paul Amarillas, a corporal in the Marine Corps, was indicted by a grand jury this week. He’s accused of stealing a Javelin missile system along with multiple cans of ammunition from his base and moving them into Arizona to sell.
Investigators say Amarillas was stationed at Camp Pendleton, where he worked as an ammunition technician. That role gave him direct access to explosives and military-grade ammo.
According to the case, investigators believe he transported the weapons into Arizona and sold them through two individuals listed as unindicted co-conspirators. From there, those items were allegedly passed along and resold to other companies.#trump #elsalvador #donaldtrump #breakingnews #senator #elon #elonmusk #joerogan #jre #joeroganexperience #travel #cnn #meltdown #msnbc #fail #fails #fly #fbi #kashpatel #judge #elsalvador #abregogarcia #wisconsin #nationalguard #portlandprotests
