16:35Now PlayingThe Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has arrested Denisa Ghiocel, 31, and Dorel Ghiocel, 35, both of no fixed address, following an attempted jewelry robbery yesterday in Ashburn.
Each was charged with one count of Attempted Robbery and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, and they are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
The LCSO has been investigating eight separate incidents over the past 30 days in which victims were targeted using distraction techniques to remove their jewelry. The suspects, undocumented Romanians with active ICE detainers, are believed to be connected to one or more of these incidents and part of a broader criminal network throughout the region.
During a proactive investigation, the LCSO identified a vehicle associated with previous crimes. While attempting to locate the vehicle, LCSO was notified of an attempted robbery with a similar vehicle description on the 41000 block of Misty Dawn Drive in Ashburn. The victim, an adult female, was unharmed. LCSO deputies were able to stop the vehicle where the suspects were taken into custody without further incident on Route 50 west of Middleburg. #trump #elsalvador #donaldtrump #breakingnews #senator #elon #elonmusk #joerogan #jre #joeroganexperience #travel #cnn #meltdown #msnbc #fail #fails #fly #fbi #kashpatel #judge #elsalvador #abregogarcia #wisconsin #nationalguard #portlandprotests
